Chef Palladino: Recipe for Success

If you want it all—delightful food, service, and ambience—then take a seat at the table of one of Luke Palladino’s South Jersey restaurants. And don’t be surprised iff you see Chef Palladino, himself, ensuring that you are having a great experience.

Luke’s resume is impressive. He trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and has cooked in eighteen restaurants across Italy over a period of four years.  Luke has also worked with legends in the culinary world including Paul Bertolli, Emeril Lagasse, and Todd English.  But Chef Palladino humbly admits that there are some tricks of his trade that are “home grown” and were picked up by watching his mother and grandmother cook.

Luke Palladino’s recipe for success goes beyond having a number of delectable and delightful appetizers and entrees on his menu. He also exemplifies creativity, passion, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.  And that’s not all, Luke ‘s remarkable business savvy has helped him transcend from chef to restauranteur.  At a surprisingly young age, Mr. Palladino has bragging rights to opening and operating a number of restaurants including Olives in Aspen, Colorado,  Specchio, Ombra and Risi Bisi in The Borgata Casino in Atlantic City.

Today, Luke Palladino’s Hospitality Group (LPHG) owns and operates Luke Palladino Harrah’s Resort, Luke’s Kitchen and Marketplace in The Revel Casino, as well as two local favorites, LP Steak and Luke Palladino.  And remember, if you are from out of town, it is always a good sign when you are choosing a place to eat that’s full of locals.  Luke’s restaurants can also boast of being locally sourced and focusing on seasonality.  One diner remarked “You never know what exactly you are going to eat, but you are guaranteed that it will be great.”

LPHG goes beyond bringing Italian cuisine to our plates and palates.  Chef Palladino has embarked upon a number of other extraordinary ventures.  He serves as the “go-to” consultant for starting up and managing a restaurant. Luke has also appeared on The Today Show with Al Roker as well as provided hungry viewers with a mouth-watering experience on Talk Philly.  Chef Palladino keeps his eye out for new and fresh talent by working with students at Atlantic Cape Community College’s renowned Academy of Culinary Arts.

Enjoying Luke’s Italian cuisine is not limited to dining at one of his restaurants.  His catering division allows world class dining at your party, function, or wedding. When asked about franchising, Chef Palladino proudly explained that he does not just rent out his name. He has to make sure that the ventures maintain his high level of quality and expectations before putting his well-deserved reputation on the line.

In 2004, Luke Palladino was named “the best unknown Italian chef in America” by The Rosengarten Report. His hard work and gift for knowing exactly what his diners desire has elevated him beyond this title.  Luke Palladino is not just a household name in South Jersey but to travelers and visitors from across the country.  Buon appetito!
