POP UP – ART ON ALLEN STREET JANUARY 22

Brooklyn’s own Smurfo Udirty  is one of the more playful artists in the 198 Allen Street Art Pop Up opening on Tuesday, January 22, he fuses street art and graffiti with contemporary painting techniques.

On January 22nd, Tuesday, we’ll get lucky. Popping up at one of NYC’s most exceptional art spaces, 198 Allen Street, will be Art Apple’s show of original work by diverse talents including New York Romantic, Augustus Pallante, Kevin Champeny, Clockwork Cros, The Love Child, Smurfo Udirty, Heart By Leon, Ted Barkhorn, Ray Yau, Pvny. This playful, colorful array of fine art will be celebrated with food (from Hamptons restauranteur Chef Chris Panzeca) and drink not to mention live music from Avery Wilson, one of our favorite winners of TV’s The Voice. Who will be there? Models, Influencers, Art Connoisseurs, Jetsetters, Professionals and Fashion Industry Folk – and a surprise celebrity guest or two – on hand for a night of immersive entertainment, charity, and fun for all.

Guests will be sipping the latest rose from Provence, Maison Marcel Wine, vodka cocktails from Poland’s award winning Wodka and delicious mixers from Q. For those in a more tropical mood there will be superb aged Demarara Rum, XM 10YR and XM 15 YR and delicious rum from Trinidad, Estate Royale. Need stamina to sustain the six hours of looking, chatting, flirting, drinking, and eating that comes with this fun pop up? Down a few Hub energy drinks to keep going. The soundtrack for the evening will be hit tunes from Jerry Elcock R&B singer and Avery Wilson winner of TV’s The Voice. But best of all, 30% of the funds raised – admission starts at $10 a person – goes to purchase art supplies for emerging talent, talented, creative kids in the NYC public school art programs.
