Millennium Magazine Host Jacqui Phillips has a new title to add to her resume; author, and this holiday season she shares the gift of her first children’s book, ‘The Adventures of Stushy and Bello!’ a wonderful tale and adventure of two adopted brothers that teach love and kindness to others.
For parents planning to gift their children bicycles this holiday, there are many wonderful lessons in my first book. ‘The Adventures of Stushy and Bello!’ I Got A Bike, Now What?” says Phillips. “In keeping kids safe this season and beyond, the lessons always from this book is to Be Safe, Wear A Helmet!”
Bello, a cat spends much of his time looking after his little brother Stushy, a puppy dog young and full of energy who never thinks about the consequences of his actions. Together they go on many adventures, teaching love and kindness to others. They appreciate and celebrate each other’s uniqueness in their travels and become one in teaching to children!
Phillips, who is an American TV host on “Joy in Our Town,” is head writer & executive producer of ‘Stars Behind the Stars’ as well as a public speaker, celebrity makeup artist, and entrepreneur. Phillips, who resides in the Greater New York Area, said she got the inspiration to write the book from home.
“They are my real life pets and watching them inspires me,” said Phillips. “It doesn’t matter that they are different and didn’t grow up together. They appreciate and celebrate each other’s uniqueness.”
‘The Adventures of Stushy and Bello’ is a multimedia book series books, dedicated to dogs and cats of the world, and supports laws like the ‘Kirby & Quigley’s Law,’ said Phillips.
“Pet adoption is important because we need to look at the big picture and fight for those who cannot fight for themselves and extend our home stop the unwanted,” said Phillips. “The pets who are not wanted make the best friends for life because they have a heart of gratitude. I adopted Bello and he has forever changed my life for the better.”
