A Midsummer’s Dream For The Parrish Art Museum

By Lauren Clarke-Bennett

The Parrish Art Museum is set to hold its second Midsummer’s Party at it’s new digs in Watermill, NY. 2014 will bring back the unbeatable combination of its breathtaking art, music and performance and its terrace will be transformed once more by Ron Wendt Design and enhanced again by Olivier Cheng Catering and Events. Guests will be delighted by a performance from Richard Move and MoveOpolis! and will boogie all night long to beats by Coleman Music.

Last summer the museum’s premiere gala in its new residence was a roaring success and we expect no less this year. Sponsored by HSBC, the 34,000 plus square-foot manse was beautifully decorated and packed with incredible art. The VIPs chatted and consumed the evening’s fare as artists Alice Aycock, Ross Bleckner, Cindy Sherman and many more circulated among the patrons. To close, 600 supporters dined on the porch over looking nearby fields. An additional 400 guests joined in for an after party complete with a wonderful light show and music by The Dirty Projectors and a DJ trio.
