VIP Hamptonites got wild at the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center ‘GET WILD Summer Gala’ while honoring April Gornik, Eric Fischel, Amy Sullivan and Susan Penzner. Co-chaired by such animal lovers as Jill Rappaport, Beth Ostrosky Stern, Hilaria and Alec Baldwin, Cornelia Guest and Carey Lowell, the not-for-profit rehabilitates wild animals impacted by the “encroachment of humans on their habitat.” Former Ralph Lauren model, Jane Gill, and notables that included Jill Rappaport, Peter Beard, Nicole Miller, Anne Hearst & Jay Mcinerney cradled owls and other creatures rescued by the center while enjoying live music, a silent auction, cocktails and light fare. The event was hosted at the Silas Marder Gallery inside their garden center and nursery in Bridgehampton, where landscape must-haves as high as $100,000 trees are purchased.
