TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL 2015 OPENS ‘LIVE FROM NEW YORK’

Opening Night at the Tribeca Film Festival brought out the stars for the premier of Bao Nguyen’s ‘Live From New York’, a documentary depicting the last 40 years of ‘Saturday Night Live’.

The red carpet was a blaze with celebrities celebrating a slice of Americana that revolutionized entertainment and continues to rank as one of the top comedy shows on TV. The doc took a stroll down SNL memory lane, highlighting the positives with little or no attention paid to the loss of Beluchi and Farley from drugs during their prime or cast member tensions.

Perhaps rightly so, as the iconic show always intended to make people laugh which this film documents so well. To cap off the evening one of the SNL entertainment alumni Ludacris, performed a few numbers to the delight of the audience and that they say is show business.
