The much talked about film ‘Franny’, written and directed by Andrew Renzi premiered at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival and was snapped up for its US rights by Samuel Goldwyn Films. The movie star’s the ever sexy and gifted Richard Gere as Franny, a wealthy hedonistic philanthropist who tries to right a wrong (that led to a couple’s death), by needling himself into the lives of his deceased friends’ daughter and her new husband. The young couple played by the angelic Dakota Fanning and stunning Theo James (who are equally as talented) become the way in which Gere’s character tries to unload his guilt by paying them off. Franny’s inability to deal with his darkness only proves to make him more lonely and tormented which the masterful Gere plays with ease as the film’s entertainment factor does not disappoint.
