However the main events were held at The Manhattan Center, housing the Hammerstein Ballroom on west 34th St., a stellar venue that showcased headliners throughout a very super week.

Star Talk with Neil DeGrasse Tyson kicked off the first event of Superweek, with a very eclectic group of people including the famous author and journalist Malcolm Gladwell, professor of sociology at Colombia University Alondra Nelson, The Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac, and stand-up comedian/co-host Eugene Mirman, who discussed topics that revolved around sociology.

The highlighted ‘Star Trek’ Panel led by William Shatner discussed the Final Frontier featuring cast members from ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ including Patrick Stewart who talked about inspirational fan stories and their favorite, most memorable on and off camera moments.
