Sarina Suno’s music has been described as a “combination of trance and electronica mixed with hip-hop, with the melody reverberating from her neon lit Swarovski encrusted violin,” according to a recent publication.

“Artistically, I sing on the violin. The violin is my voice. That’s why I named myself the Violin Diva,” she says. “I don’t mean it like “selfish” or “spoiled”, but used it in a positive way like fierce!”

Sarina the “Violina Diva” has become the hottest go-to performer for special events all over the world that require cutting edge original entertainment that is guaranteed to blow audiences away.

Sarina has performed at top fashion shows, private parties, public concerts, and the most famous night clubs and lounges such as the Buddha Bar, Pink Elephant, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. She is a featured performer at hotspots such as Nikki Beach, Hudson Bar, and Arena. This year is packed with shows in Tokyo, New York, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Sardinia, St. Maarten, and St. Barth. Sarina will be the featured violinist performing along with Greek DJ/producers GangBang at the “Melrose Ballroom”, in New York, where she will be opening for top DJs such as Tiesto and Kalvin Harris.

“I like playing all styles of music, but I am focused on house music now because it gives me plenty of room to express myself and be creative on violin,” says Sarina.

Last year, Sarina performed in Tucson, Kentucky, Charleston, London, Panama and had over 10 sold out shows all over St. Maarten and St. Barth. While in St. Maarten, she was the featured artist at the French Red Cross Gala. She performed at the Michael Jackson Tribute concert in Kobe Japan in 2011 and has two more shows coming up with them in Tokyo this month. In July 2011, Sarina performed along with Grammy award winning rapper FloRida and at a private party by Milla Jovovich. In October 2010, Sarina performed along with legendary DJ Jonathan Peters at “JP Classics” party.

“These days, it’s hard to define some music as one style of music since a lot of different styles of music are getting mixed; even a lot of hip-hop uses house beats these days,” said Sarina. “I love any style of music and I think great music is great no matter what genre it is. I am excited to be able to create a new style of music with my violin.”

Sarina’s original house music “Dancing Violin” was released on the French label
Lift’in Records in August, 2011. Her original house track “Hashim Theme” was released by Launch Entertainment under the legendary New York house music label Strictly Rhythm Records in October 2012. She will also release her new single “Careless Whisper” later this year.

After graduating from the Berklee College of Music summa cum laude in 2004, Sarina landed her first recording contract with Sony Japan and became an overnight success in Asia. Her videos played on MTV Japan, and three of her CDs made it to the top 10 charts on iTunes. Sarina has taken mainstream entertainment to a new level by putting the violin front and center in today’s top club music.

“It’s one thing if you can be successful in Japan but if you are a success in the US, you are successful in the whole world.”
